   I took one star because the sticker outside the door is very hard to take out. I bought Goo Gone Original Liquid to remove it. End up with lots of scratches in stainless steel door. Other than that everything about this fridge is great.

   We purchased this fridge just under 2 years ago. The ice maker quit producing ice in less than a year. We were able to get the ice maker replaced with the 1 year warranty. 6 months later, it stopped producing ice again and now it’s not under warranty anymore. 2 faulty ice makers in less than 2 years. Not the quality you would expect from Bosch. Especially when paying this much for a fridge.

   We just bought this fridge to replace an LG fridge that gave up the ghost. This Bosch model is almost identical in size and layout to our LG. There are some improvements in technology (Wi-Fi, energy usage, ice-making) that we’ll have to wait to judge. But there are two things that fall short.

   The first is that the fingerprint-proof finish claim is false. Fingerprints show up easily. Not the end of the world, but LG was better in this area.

   More annoyingly, the interior of the fridge just seems dark, especially the top shelf. But the good news is I found a motion-activated LED light that fixes this perfectly: https://a.co/d/0arYA20 (the wider one)

   Will wait to see how the fridge holds up over time, but so far we’re very happy.

   I’ve owned this fridge for 2 years. The ice maker stopped working several months in and have had it repaired 3x under the warranty and it still doesn’t work. Most recently the water spout decided to also stop working. Unacceptable.

   We were looking to replace a 7 year old LG because the ice maker had problems after 6 months. I was torn between this Bosch model and the Kitchen Aid that looked similar. So glad I chose this one. We had it professionally set up and within an hour it started making ice. The ice is large and crescent shaped. The refrigerator is large enough for my husband and I and it holds more than I imagined. One thing about it that’s not too great is if you want to open the long drawer you have to open both doors but it’s no big deal. It’s quiet for the most part but occasionally you do hear ice drop. That sound makes me happy as it makes plenty of ice for us and that is quite a bit …. we love ice! It makes ice continually as it’s used. The outside body is easy to clean and fingerprints do not show up on it. Love the sleek look of this too. I love it and happy I chose it. We got March 2022. Also I got the 5 year warranty that covers it bumper to bumper with labor included. Had to get just in case….. I am in love with this 500 series Bosch!
