   We are enjoying our new refrigerator. The interior lighting is adjustable and goes from very bright to off using your app. My grandchildren love the auto water filler. Crushed ice is nice. Wish the door shelf was adjustable. It would be nice if it held a bottle of wine or large bottle of soft drink. We are enjoying the middle drawer with adjustable temps. Delivery folks tore up our front porch snd left behind a mess. But they appeared to be private hires.

   Very happy with this GE refrigerator. Installed it myself about 6 weeks ago. Love the LED back panel. It lights up everything inside. Bought the frig online from a firm on the east coast. It was shipped here to California and arrived without any problems. The shipper brought the unit into the kitchen at no extra cost. This frig replaces a Kitchenaid French Door refrigerator that lasted less than 6 years when the freezer and icemaker failed.

   I can’t even tell you how happy I am with my new fridge. It is replacing my favorite fridge of all time that I did not want to part with. I needed a fridge for a rental that I own and my husband suggested that we keep the new fridge here and put my favorite older fridge in the rental. I said ONLY if I could find a fridge I liked more than the one I had. Who wouldn’t want a new fridge… right? Stubborn me. I shopped at local appliance stores, big box retail stores and online. I saw this one at Home Depot and a sister model (Cafe) at an appliance store. I was surprised at the price difference. By shopping online at anywherefridge.com, I saved between $500 – $700. Not only that, by buying it from this Seller at anywherefridge.com, I could get it quicker, PLUS the delivery included the drivers setting up the fridge in the house! They even hauled off all the boxing, tape and plastic. WOW. The manual said the freezer would be the first to cool down, not so in my case. I would guess it took about 6 hours for the fridge to cool down and about 12-14 hours for the freezer. I LOVE all the space it offers, the swing out door, the soft close veggie drawers, the flexible middle drawer and the freezer with a large slide out and compartments on the drawer. I am not having to dig for what I’m looking for anymore. Setup was simple. I haven’t used the “wifi” option, so I can’t comment on that. If I do, I’ll edit my review. Have I told you today how much I LOVE MY NEW FRIDGE? TEN stars from me!

   Fit needs well. Especially like the door within a door feature. Also great feature to easily connect with WiFi and manage at home. This feature would have saved me a lot of grief if I had it with my prior refrigerator.

   Two, now three: things that are maddening considering what this thing cost. Which is why score dropped another star. Harsh scoring. Yes, given the price… It seems absurd that on a fridge this expensive one has to open both doors to open the right crisper drawer. This is because the drawer fronts are identical, which saves money in manufacturing. If the right drawer front was cut in about 3/8 in. on the left, it could be opened with just the right fridge door open. Another maddening aspect – we have had this refrigerator for about 5 months; and this is two adults using the fridge, not a horde of children. I see that on the “chrome” buttons on the sliders for controlling vegetable and fruit drawer humidity, the “chrome” is wearing off. Totally unacceptable. To be fair to GE, they sent me the parts for free. Unfortunately it appears like you have to disassemble the inside of the refrigerator to get drawer access to install them. I suppose THREE things that are maddening. I guess over-the-air software updates are great, but the most recent one disabled the auto fill feature. After going through emails back-and-forth like “did you clean the sensor did you use a different glass” and try and explain it worked the night before, then I had a notice of a software update the next morning, and it wouldn’t fill any glasses. Supposed to call tech-support but I don’t have time to wait for over an hour on the phone right now…

   Overall great fridge. Lots of space and nice lighting and moveable shelving. Freezer space is nice. Only issue that is very disappointing is the ice machine. It makes ice fine a fairly fast, but it takes so long to fill a glass with ice and it crushes some of the ice even not on the crush mode. Also the auto fill of water for your cup is not consistent and under fills the cup by a lot. The other thing is you have to buy the water filter through them and can’t use a 3rd party filter unless you can blow dry the label and place on a different filter.

   I like the lights, the size is nice, the color is lovely. The space is well organized and easier to adjust than others. I like how the ice maker is built into the door alright so opening the fridge doesn’t let warm air into the ice maker. The auto fill is way cooler than I thought it would be.

   I had a Samsung before this. I’ve if their nicest models. The ice maker was having problems within a year and never got fixed despite many attempts and had no support available.

   GE has the best support network but doesn’t need it. Absolutely top notch.

   Do not buy the ge profile refrigerator the compressor and cool system went out just under a year and a half ago and ge said it had a five year warranty but they won’t fix it and and anywherefridge.com said there a-z warranty would take of it for me but they lied and didn’t turn it so nobody will take of my refrigerator so I guess I need to findely talk to a lawyer because I don’t know what left to do. Please do not buy Wanda Basham. It doesn’t deserve a one star rating

    *** FILTER REPLACEMENT UPDATE *** * After enjoying our beautiful refrigerator for 6 months now, the reminder came on to replace the filter, I quickly and easily replaced it with an after-market one I bought here on anywherefridge.com. Despite what some past reviews said about after-market filters and error messages, this replacement filter is performing well with no error messages on the display. The Filter is: “Waterdrop XWF” Half the price of the OEM filter! * After research and feedback reviews, we decided to purchase this GE Profile. Never had a French Door style, so we figured we would try it. Not only does it look exquisite and beautiful in our kitchen, but it has many features that keep a smile on our faces! So many features, where do I start… Compared to any other refrigerator that we had in the past, this is the MOST QUIET of all. The ice maker makes some noise at various times during the refill process and when it drops fresh ice into the bin, but after the bin has some ice in it, the noise diminishes. Having the “Quick Access” door feature is soooo convenient, and energy efficient. The LED lighting covers the whole back wall of the refrigerator so you can see everything. The automatic water dispenser feature will spoil you for sure! Just put your glass on the water dispenser shelf, press the auto fill button, and walk away while your glass is filled to the top and the water stops by itself! No splashing or mess! It will also let you know if one of the 5 doors is left open! Since the ice bin is located in the left door, it is a little small in capacity, but still more than adequate for normal daily use. You can keep an ice bucket in the bottom freezer and fill it when the door ice bin gets full, so you will have surplus ice cubes for a party, etc. The water filter is located on the left door just below the ice maker, and is very easy to replace. As for storage space…..WOW! Because of the in-the-door ice maker, you have over-abundant shelf space. The door shelves are NOT adjustable, but the interior shelves are. The freezer has more than enough space for most families, I am sure. The middle door/drawer is refrigerated, and very convenient for storing quick access items with its’ own temperature adjustment. This is a “SMART” Refrigerator with WiFi, and an easy to use app that you can download from the App Store, for Android and Apple, but we have not yet activated that feature. Hopefully, this refrigerator will give us many years of smiles!
