   Buy this fridge at your peril. Prepare to pay through the nose to keep it running.
   Worst fridge I’ve ever owned and I’ve had fridges for 40 years. This cost $1400 when new. Failed after only 2 years. Fridge turned itself off, defrosted overnight, and when we got it back on only the freezer section was working. GE repairman came eventually and diagnosed that 5 parts had failed, including the damper and the main board and that it will cost $700 to fix. Oh, and please wait 2 more weeks for the parts.
   Nice business model, sell people fridges with parts that aren’t made to last, then make more profit when the fridge fails.

   Great feel and looks. Can control temp but you have to go all the way up then it goes back to the lowest and then you pick if you are looking for the colder setting compared to default. There is a crisper drawer that is the most annoying one on earth. It slides in weird and stops constantly bc they put feet on the bottom. All other drawers don’t have this bizarre feet. If they are going to do that they should put wheels instead. Don’t understand why. You can’t open it a one hand unless you have almost nothing in that drawer. All other drawers slide perfectly. I like minimalist design, nice that front is not marred by a handle BUT it is easily dented. First day it arrived delivery dented it and I am in no mind to try to fixed that dent. It’s just too much work. If you want to use the fridge larger drawer that’s the level below crisper you have to open the fridge and keep the door all the way right angle, no less. Bc if this, if you are not careful and open that drawer without keeping the door right angle open, you will nick the rubbery frame around the door. Be careful. Bottom freezer allows awesome organization. Roomy for our needs. Wish they would address the drawer feet issue (it’s a bane.)

   We first bought this item online on sale for $899. THEY CANCELLED OUR PURCHASE and I still don’t know why. We ended up paying $1034.

   We have a small kitchen so needed a smaller appliance. There is no ice maker and the appliance has few amenities. Haven’t had any problems but have only owned it a month. Keeps things cold and/or froze. It is pretty quiet. Temps on the front that, even if you stand there loading it up after a trip to the grocer, still doesn’t change.

   2022 note: We purchased this item about 2 years ago. THE DRAWERS stick, both in the fridge and the freezer. Sooooo annoying. I’ve dropped my rating to 3 stars.

   It is very dark inside this fridge as the lighting is poorly designed.
   It does not have enough movable slots for shelves to be adjusted as needed.
   The top drawer which is usually used for cold cuts and cheeses is little too deep and therefore shelf spacing is less.
   The bottom drawer is plenty big and it did not have to be as wide. It could have been the same as the top one and therefore the door spacing would have been much better as it would increase space for jar type items.

   And I’ve had some god-awful ones in my time. The fridge arrived dinged, which is not that big a deal, but it just shows how this whole saga started. What I really hate, though, are the following:
   * Cheap feeling. Plastic shelves and drawers that don’t last
   * Pieces fall off. Yes, a plastic seal on the freezer won’t stay on.
   * Drawers stick/come off
   * Temperature seems to chnage — sometimes veggies in drawer are frozen, othertimes not
   * You have to open door all the way to open drawers

   For almost $1,000 this was not a good deal.
