On our side by side there is a pass through for the fridge to the freezer for cooling, it was solid ice causing the shutdown not the Refrigerator Temperature Sensor. But I got one hanging on the side for backup…
In other words, air flows from the top to the bottom (upper has the damper), the bottom is open (but it was frozen off).

It works, food was freezing up in my fridge and I fixed it with this part. It was not an exact fit, as I didn’t need the connector. My fridge had longer wires, so I cut the plastic connector off and just spliced in the wires.
