   Samsung refrigerators and ice makers are worst on market. If you buy this product you will be looking for another one within a year. I’ve replaced ice maker twice and ice tray three times and still does not work.

   I came across these reviews of my fridge, here to say I did not purchase from anywherefridge.com however, everyone who has already made a review are MY SAME ISSUE! I about freaked reading the reviews!! I have paid for an appliance repair service to come out 189.00 and it was fixed for maybe a month in total and low and behold my freezer issues are back happening. I called Samsung like my repair man suggested to do, they won’t take ownership of their poor quality appliance. Rather told me my model is not qualified in the “recall time window” mine is a 2020 model it was 2019 models and before that are on the recall list. My unit is 4 years old! I am disappointed and disgusted.

   Samsung support will not help you with scratches. Trying to replace a door for scratches ? You can’t, Samsung support won’t let you. Instead you will have to go to Samsung parts and buy a 300 dollar single door since there is no other way to fix cosmetic issues on these fridges. Besides that, just to clean out the fridge is a pain. The ice machine get stuck and it’s supper slow. The water shoots out like a power washer getting everywhere and no water capture cup.

   I paid over $2K 6 years ago. The first time the ice maker froze out Samsung sent someone to replace it. The second time I had to get it repaired ($200). The third time I fixed it myself by chipping away all the ice. Now it works as long as I chip the ice away every weekend. What a waste of time and money!

   Samsung customer service is based in India and you’ll be transferred and put on hold endlessly trying to reach support for help.

   Don’t waste your money on ANY Samsung refrigerator
   

6. HONEST review of Samsung French Door Fridge Verified Buyer – 8 March 2025

   The Ice Maker Freezes over. This is a common occurrence with Samsung French Door Ice Makers. A class action suit is pending. As near as I can tell, looking over the class action suit, it has been going on for years. If you don’t use the ice maker, it works great. The ice maker has to be defrosted with a hair dryer once a month.

   Everything about how the shelves are engineered is centered around you breaking something and having to order replacement parts. Good luck taking anything out to clean it. It does not need to be nearly as difficult as it is. They absolutely design it in such a way that you will break a retainer clip or something else and end up paying through the nose to replace the entire shelf.
