I purchased and installed this new controller board in my refrigerator because it had stopped functioning. I went through the programming steps and the refrigerator came on but the ice maker would not function. I went through the trouble shooting process and as a result replaced the water valve, the water filter and the Ice maker. It still would not function so I called a technician to see what was wrong. It turns out that the control or board was faulty, providing no power to the ice maker. The cost of the items I replaced and the cost of the technician was nearly $300 and the cost of the controller board was $106, so over $400. Now they are telling me it is too late to return the item. I purchased another controller board from a more reputable company and it works perfectly. By the way another $190. I was foolish to trust this Chinese product and foolish to trust Amazom. I won’t make that mistake again.

I’m not sure why they keep selling this in its current configuration. It doesn’t send power to icemaker. I spent three days waiting for ice maker to start making ice. No joy. The reviews were accurate; I should have listened. I bought another one for not much more $$ (after reading its reviews) and it was making ice a hour later.

A week after install the ice maker stopped working. Took me two weeks to get a appliance guy to install it and it worked well for only one week after that. By that time the return ability was shut off by anywherefridge.com, so now i’m stuck with a $117 boat anchor.

The board did get our refrigerator and freezer working again. However, our ice maker no longer worked. We ended up having to have a repair person out and ended up buying an oem board. Now everything works as it should. You do not have much by getting this universal part, so save yourself the hassle and just get the oem part to begin with.
